Monday Thought of the Week.

Picture this-

Race day.  A guy who has 8 of his teammates in the pack launches off the front.  The rest of his team patrols the front and does a damn good job of it.  Great teamwork ensues and they eventually get the win.

During this example of great teamwork, another team in that same race is rolling 10  strong.  They sit in the back and pretend they are knitting.

  • Oh c’mon… I can’t have any fun? :-) Who said it had anything to do with last weekends races?

It was much more than a Monday morning quarterback, it was an out right whine!

As for the, “how many solo breaks actually stick in the 3s?” Well, if they happen to be any of the Venable brothers, all of them!

  • It is the truth. To have such numbers and to be so consistently ineffective race after race never ceases to amaze me.

  • The term is “career cat 3s”. Then again, they did win the last race of ’08.

  • Yes, it is a surprise that Travis stayed away by himself. But that was just not up to him or his abilities, it was also up to the pack and the decision to shut down pursuers. Maybe the other bunch should have bridged That would have been interesting. Too bad, no hard feelings, lets kick it tomorrow.
